廃墟のマリア像

私の代表的な作品のひとつ。廃墟のマリア像。

人が訪れることが無くなり、教会の建物は朽ちてしまった中、マリア像だけは変わらず、森の奥

ひっそりと微笑みながら立ち続けている。

そんなイメージです。

マリア像自体は既製品を利用していますが、古びた風合いを出すため、特殊な方法で塗装し直し、

汚しや苔などの表現を加えました。絡んでいるツタの葉っぱも、一枚一枚手作りしています。

貼り方にもこだわり、立体的によりリアルに見えるように工夫を凝らしています。

ツタの葉っぱの表現は私の真骨頂と言えるところでもあります。

The statue of Maria itself uses ready-made products, but in order to give it an old texture, it is repainted with a special method,

We added expressions such as dirt and moss. The entwined ivy leaves are also handmade one by one.

We also stick to the sticking method and devise it so that it looks more realistic in three dimensions.

The expression of ivy leaves can be said to be the true value of me.
